An autoclave is a hermetically sealed device that raises the temperature and pressure above atmospheric pressure in an enclosed space and generates saturated water vapor used to sterilize medical instruments and other medical devices. Autoclaves are also called sterilizers.

Steam sterilization or autoclaving is the most common method of sterilization in healthcare facilities.

“Organization of disinfection and sterilization measures in medical institutions” SanPiN #0342- 2017 “Prevention of nosocomial infection” in paragraph 6.5 states that "medical personnel operating sterilizing equipment (autoclave, dry cupboard, etc.) before entering the department of centralized sterilization (DCS), and then once a year must be trained at special courses and have a certificate of admission to work on these devices.

Non-state educational institution “MALAKALI MUTAXASSIS” has LICENSE № KMO 0288 from 27.03.2019, issued by the State Inspectorate for supervision over the quality of education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Certificate No. 641743 from 09.10.2018 on State Registration of a legal entity (license and certificate attached) conducts training on program “Safety for autoclave operators” lasting 36 hours for nursing staff, staff of laboratories, pharmacies, etc. working with autoclave and other sterilizers. At the end of the course a state certificate is issued.

In addition, NOU “MALAKALI MUTAXASSIS” conducts training for nursing staff, laboratory technicians and pharmacists training on the program “Modern methods of sterilization and safety”, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the course of specialization 216 hours and refresher course 144 hours. At the end of training is issued CERTIFICATE of the state sample.
