Combined roll for steam, ethylene oxide, steam formaldehyde and radiation sterilization is designed for packaging, subsequent sterilization and subsequent protection against contamination of instruments and medical devices by steam or gas (ethylene oxide or formaldehyde). The roll consists of polymer (polypropylene/polyester) film combined with dense medical high-strength paper.
RSP-PHARMA-TEST" 100/200 flat roll for steam, ethylene oxide, steam formaldehyde and radiation sterilization. It is intended for manufacturing of bags for packaging of medical devices before sterilization in order to preserve sterility of these devices after sterilization and during their subsequent transportation and storage before their intended use. Made of multilayer polymer (polypropylene/polyester) film in combination with dense medical high-strength paper meets the requirements for medical packaging materials
according to GOST P ISO 11607-2003 “Packaging for Finishing Sterilization of Medical Devices” and European Standard CEN EN 868.
Easily permeable to the appropriate sterilizing agent, when closed, impermeable to microbial penetration for one year. The manufactured bags are sealed using a heat-welding machine.
Sterilization combination rolls are designed for sterilization of medical instruments, manicure instruments, pedicure instruments, cosmetic instruments. It is used for single gas or steam sterilization.
- Disinfect instruments, perform pre-sterilization cleaning, and dry;
- Using a special tool, cut off the required amount of packaging material from the roll, taking into account the allowance for the free positioning of tools and the width of the seams. Leave about 30 millimeters of space between the seam and the tools;
- Seal one side with a heat-welding machine.
*Attention! In the absence of a heat-welding machine the produced section of film can be sealed with self-adhesive tape.
The size of a piece of self-adhesive tape is selected with a reserve of 4-5 cm from the width of the bag. Bend the open part of the bag and tape it in such a way that 2-2.5 cm of tape remains behind the side edges. These edges are folded to the back side of the bag and glued to it;
- Place clean, dried instruments in the resulting bag. In order to avoid creasing when sealing the pouches and tearing the package during sterilization, the maximum filling volume should not exceed 3/4 of the pouch volume;
- If possible, remove as much air from the bag as possible by ironing the bag by hand from the closed end to the open end;
- Place an internal indicator of the appropriate class in the bag;
- Seal the bag using a heat-welding machine;
- Place the instrument bags in the sterilizer;
- Carry out sterilization according to the regulations and type of sterilizer;
- At the end of sterilization, check that all indicators have changed color;
- Packages with sterilized instruments should be stored sealed in a dark dry place (or in a UV cabinet) at a temperature from 10 to 30oC and relative humidity not more than 50%. The shelf life of sterilized instruments in sealed form is one year.
