Single-use indicator “PHARMA-TEST” ҲС-I-180/60 is designed for operative visual control of compliance with the specified parameters (sterilization temperature, sterilization holding time) and conditions in each cycle of air sterilization when placing indicators inside sterilization bags, packages designed for packaging medical devices in 180°C/60min mode. This indicator is fixed inside the package with instruments.

Indicators allow to detect deviations from the regulatory parameters of modes and conditions of air sterilization caused by:

- inappropriate configuration or load volume;

- error in setting the parameters of sterilization modes or their failure;

- by a malfunctioning autoclave.

It is highly recommended that the internal indicator “PHARMA-TEST” ҲC-I-180/60 and the external indicator “PHARMA-TEST” ҲC-T-180/60 be used in the same cycle to simultaneously monitor the temperature inside the instrument bag and the performance of the sterilizer.

The indicator is a paper carrier on an adhesive base with a protective backing, on the front surface of which marking, comparison mark and indicator mark are applied. Indicators are supplied in A4 sheets and are separated from each other along the perforation line. Indicators are packed in an individual package with a label (marking) corresponding to the name and type, complete with this instruction and logbook of sterilization parameters F.257/U.

The sticky layer ensures that the indicator is securely fixed at the control point.

Universal 4 class “PHARMA-TEST” ҲC-I-180/60 off-air indicators are designed for operative visual control of compliance with specified parameters of modes (sterilization temperature, sterilization holding time) and sterilization conditions inside sterilization packages, packages with medical devices, heat-resistant powdery (pharma) substances subject to air sterilization, carried out in air sterilizers, meeting the requirements of GOST 22649, having limit deviations from the nominal values of sterilization temperatures ±3ºC.

Internal single-use chemical indicators ҲС-I-“PHARMA-TEST” allow to detect deviations from the set parameters of modes and conditions of air sterilization in the sterilization chamber, caused by technical malfunction of sterilizers, errors in the setting of sterilization parameters or their failure, violation of loading or packaging of products, which reduces the risk of using products subjected to sterilization treatment at values of mode parameters inside the sterilization chamber that do not correspond to the regulations.

Placement of ҲC-I-“PHARMA-TEST” indicators is carried out according to the rules:

1. It is not allowed to place ҲC-I-“PHARMA-TEST” indicators

- on bags, open trays with sterilizable articles;
- on the sterilized item in the bag;
- inside medical devices.

2. To place and fasten the indicators from the back side of the left indicator section, free from the thermal indicator mark, remove a part of the protective paper covering, covering the sticky layer, and fasten the indicators inside the bag with an adhesive layer to the areas free from sterilizable items.

3. ҲC-I-“PHARMA-TEST” indicators are fixed inside hermetically sealed sterilizable packages, stacks and boxes (bixes).

4. The number of ҲC-I-“PHARMA-TEST” indicators for internal control depends on the volume of the sterilization chamber.

At least one indicator ҲС-I-“PHARMA-TEST” (in accordance with MU № 287/113 from 30.12.98) is placed in each control point.

The indicators are numbered in accordance with the numbering of the sterilizer control points.

5. Не допускается размещение индикатора ҲС-И-«PHARMA-TEST» на:

- on bags, open trays with sterilizable articles;
- on the sterilized item in the bag;
- inside medical devices.

6. When placing stacks, packages with indicators in the sterilization chamber it is necessary to avoid contact of indicators with the walls of the sterilization chamber.

7. When loading sterilizers it is necessary to monitor the density and order of sterilization packages in the sterilization chamber, the volume of filling the sterilization chamber of the sterilizer, guided by the exclusion of factors that have a direct impact on the efficiency of sterilization.

- Sterilizable articles must be placed horizontally across the grooves of the shelves and evenly distributed.
- It is not allowed to load the sterilization chamber with sterilizable articles “in bulk”.
- Do not block the blowing windows, impeller area and fan grille.
- large objects should be placed on the upper metal grate so that they do not obstruct the flow of hot air.
